Who would have thought that two friends that have known each other forever, would end up falling in love.

Glen and I met in September 2016. He was a supplier for a company that I worked for. During this time I was expecting my little girl. Glen always had a fear of talking to me, as I usually took my work very seriously and was quite strict in the office. Two years later, Glen extended an offer and was able to get me a work position within a company. We later became good friends and got along quite well. 

​

That is when we fell in love - two great friends, enduring this thing called a relationship. 

​

In February 2021 we decided to make it official. We even had Covid together. What an experience that was! If we can survive stuffy noses, fever, sore bodies and quarantine together,  I guess we can survive forever together. Later that year, August to be exact, we decided to move in together. 

​

In 2022 we decided to do some traveling together. We absolutely loved every minute of that. We travelled to Sabie and Graskop and explored all the waterfalls together. This is where I knew he was going to pop the question, but unfortunately, it did not happen. 

​

In May 2022, he received a better job offer closer to the house - We were so happy about the news. a Few weeks later we decided to go visit our friend for a weekend. We had such a great time, we did not want to leave. We eventually went home the Sunday, and as I was busy unpacking our bags, Glen screamed my name with a very dramatic tone. I ran into the room and here Glen was, on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand.

I immediately  said yes because I knew that Glen was my soulmate, my safe place my heart and my "pot se deksel".
